The Garden of Morning Calm was developed to contribute to human rest and peace by showing off the natural beauty of Korea in a collection of gardens that is the essence of the heart and spirit. The Morning Calm gardens are designed to show off Korea's natural beauty in harmony with curves and asymmetrical patterns that emphasize a beauty that is different from that which you will find in Chinese or Japanese gardens. The gardens are designed using the simple charm of gradual curves, often seen in hills and mountains, bends in the river, a forest path, a thatched roof house and the pine trees of Korea. The trees, rocks, and buildings are grouped in a harmony of unbalance, using mainly an uneven triangular placement.
